Pennsylvania First
“Make Pennsylvania Efficient”
50 reasons why
Shapiro is a bad choice for Governor:
As AG:
1.
Marched with BLM and
allowed police cars and businesses to be burned.
2.
Sent Covid patients
back to nursing homes killing senior citizens. Stopped collecting information on why
older adults in Pennsylvania die during open abuse and neglect investigations.
3.
Selectively closed
businesses.
4.
Allowed Wolf to use a loophole to mask our kids again.
5.
Allowed organ harvesting
at U. of Pittsburgh.
6.
He allowed the PA
Nat’l Guard to resettle Afghans w/o vetting them.
7.
"Million
Dollar Heroin Ring" charges in Operation Outfoxed were dismissed against 40 dealers after Shapiro
mishandled the sealing of wiretapped recordings.
8.
He attacked the Catholic Church and Boy Scouts for his own political gain.
Only 2 priests were charged.
9.
Prosecuted Little Sisters
of the Poor in to force them to accept paying for contraception.
10.
Allowed Wolf’s use of OSHA to enforce Covid rules.
11.
He sued to stop an election audit.
12.
Opposed Trumps travel ban.
13.
Supports legalization of marijuana for recreational use by adults.
14.
Shapiro’s taxpayer-funded trip to
Aspen trip, not a government function, billed taxpayers $3,400.
15.
Wrote
the unconstitutional home-built firearms
ban which would have reclassified
unfinished receivers as firearms.
16.
Dem AG’s sued Shapiro
over a very low opioid settlement.
17.
Supports Sanctuary
cities and Dem satellite voting centers.
18.
Wants same day voter
registration and pre-registration of 16–17-year-olds.
19. In 2011, Ellen Greenberg was found dead with 20 stab wounds, some to her back—only to have her death ruled a homicide, then inexplicably changed to suicide by Shapiro. There is reason to believe that he helped protect his friends and campaign donors as attorney general by refusing to investigate the still-unsolved death of a young teacher.
And as Governor:
1.
Terminated
the state’s contract with Real
Alternatives, a pregnancy support center that dissuades people from having
abortions.
2.
Signed $50.1B budget; $33B in 2019; up over 50% in 6 years.
- Gov. Josh Shapiro’s first six months were the least productive of any gubernatorial
term in at least 50 years, yet he says he gets
“shite” done.
- Said Biden’s health was fine.
- Was rejected by Kamala because his ego was too large.
- AFSCME got a “tidy return” on their “$1.26 million investment in
Gov. Josh Shapiro’s 2022 campaign.” This refers
to the contract Shapiro just negotiated with the union: 20.25% pay
increase over four years, will see a 0.5 percent increase in healthcare
contributions, but “the employer will contribute 28 percent more.”
7.
Shapiro campaigned
as moderate but always endorsed the far-left candidate and bill.
8. PA
Turnpike has the most expensive toll per mile in the country,
and we have the fourth highest fuel tax.
9.
He kept sexual harasser Mike Verob on the job as Secretary of Legislative Affairs for months, couldn’t locate key emails on the
server and settled the case for $295K.
10.
Pennsylvania is the 14th most
regulated state with more than 164,000
regulatory restrictions on the books.
11. Appeared for a photo op with Ukrainian PM Zelenskyy autographing
artillery against Russia.

millions in 2024—$5.5M on himself.

Donald Trump an existential threat.

doing all that social media, following him around with cameras,” Wolf
had 12. Costing taxpayers nearly $3 million per year.
15. Electricity rates have risen over 73% from
2020-24 and Shapiro continues to retire coal power plants as we are the #2 gas
producer but have zero gas power plants in development.
16. Shapiro has used billionaire CEO Michael Rubin’s luxury
helicopter in the last year for at least nine round-trip flights,
worth nearly $68,000 while also not reporting flight logs using the State
Police plane.
17. He line-item vetoed a school choice measure at
the bidding of House Democrats and his union backers—after pretending to
support it.
18. He opposed efforts to secure the border.
19. He called legislation to protect
girls from being forced to compete against biological men “cruel.”
20. Shapiro’s 2023 inauguration and the celebrity-studded ball
that followed it cost more than $4 million, but the identity of the
benefactors who paid the bill has remained a secret –which include influential lobbying
firms, unions and corporations.
21. Shapiro
asks the court to continue to permit the sex-change treatments on minors.
Philly Children’s Hospital performed the most.
22. 37.3% of Pennsylvania’s approximately
3,000 public schools are
persistently dangerous.
23. The House Government Oversight Committee on how tax dollars are
spent has met only once in the past four years.
24.
PSU President paid $1.4M while they close remote
campuses.
25. Spent $1.1 million in public dollars for security upgrades to
his private family home in the Philadelphia suburbs, including $311,000 for
a new security system and nearly $290,000 for landscaping and other
groundskeeping but plans to run for President in 2028.

less and produce better grades.

student yet have only 20 students per class with an aide.

The General Fund deficit will be around $3.65 billion
in the 2025-26 fiscal year, before rising to $5.84 billion in the
2026-27 fiscal year. The deficit is expected to hit $6.90 billion
in the 2027-28 fiscal year, $7.27 billion the following year, before
reaching $7.66 billion in the 2030-31 fiscal year.
30.
PA ranks 35 to 42 on most rankings except health care at #11. We
are a bottom 10 state but the fly over gateway to the northeast and have a
lower cost of living.
